Beyond My Wheelchair, LLP

Beyond My Wheelchair: His paintings gave him a voice and a way to interact with the world.

“Painting IS my voice"

"I would tell people that everybody should follow their hearts and souls."

Sometimes Joe paints with frenzy; other times, he is calm and his movements more subdued. Occasionally, he breaks into his own laughter at a private joke, or perhaps sheer joy.

Some of those we support

The mission of this web site is twofold.  The first is obviously to promote the visual artwork painted by Joe Bishop.  Equally important is the desire to provide inspiration and hope for others who happen to be severely disabled.  It is possible to reach out and dream and achieve a dream.  All that is necessary is determination and a vision.
